A couple of people have suggested making the disk a morph target for
some other shape (rectangle, cone) on which the texture can be linear.
This will work, but do NOT morph surfaces. The whole point is that you
want the rectangle or cone's surfaces to be warped onto the morph target
(the disk). Morph Surfaces says you want the *target's* surfaces.
